Lettie Gooch is a black and woman owned, independent women's boutique in Washington, DC. The shop features an eclectic mix of emerging designers and a hand-picked collection of wearable and well-made pieces.
At Lettie Gooch, we believe that fashion is a form of expression and seek to help women communicate through their clothing. We are committed to creating an environment that encourages our customers to explore their personal style, and have fun doing it.
We are also committed to DC. We are from here and are devoted to building community in the shop, in our Shaw neighborhood, and in the city.
After 12 years in the IT sector, DC native Theresa Watts decided it was time to pursue her true passion - fashion. Watts has professionally styled executives for the E! Channel, Fortune 500 companies, educators, entrepreneurs, nonprofit directors, artists, and was a featured stylist on the Style Network’s “How Do I Look?” television show. She founded Lettie Gooch in 2006 to empower DC women to look and feel their best.
